B is for Bumbledus

or Tumble Bus in non 2-year-old language.

We've enrolled Jathan in the Tumblebus program at daycare.  Miller's Tumblebus comes to the center once a week, on Thursdays.  It's a school bus that they have taken the seats out of and made into a little gym with ball pits, mats, trampolines, slides, etc.  For a minimal monthly fee, the kids have the opportunity to play and receive some basic instruction in gymnastics.  We thought it would be a great opportunity for Jathan to learn and develop social and physical skills through an extracurricular program.  On top of that, it's nice that he can participate in an extracurricular activity during the day which still leaves the evenings free for us to do things as a family.

Jathan seems to be loving it!  He is definitely enjoying the jumping and flipping parts of it!  He's very eager to show his "shamps" -- stamps -- on his hands when I pick him up on Thursday afternoon.  That's one of their prizes they get each time they visit the bus.  He came home sporting a Tumblebus t-shirt the other afternoon as well.  I hope to be able to get some photos of him participating soon to post for you all to see, but for now, here's a pic of part of the inside of the bus.
