B is for Blue's Clues

or Coo Coo's as Jathan calls it.  I asked for a break from Elmo....and I got it.  BUT.............

This boy is turning into a couch potato as I type this!  He LOVES "Mouse," "Coo Coo's", and "Hanny Menny."  As tired as I am of watching the same shows over and over, I have to admit I'd watch them over and over to see him sing along with the songs.  He's just so cute!

He's got a thing for chocolate milk these days.  He'll put away 3 cups or more of it at a time if you'll let him.  (He's definitely his mother's child when it comes to thirst and guzzling liquids!)  I've figured out that I can give him regular milk and tell him it is chocolate and he's fine with that! lol

In other news, we're officially potty training!  He's doing GREAT so far!  First thing in the morning, he gets out of bed and wakes us (or Russell up, if I'm already at work) saying "I potty."  We still have a ways to go to being accident free, but we're definitely making big strides!  GO JATHAN!! 

This afternoon, I picked Jathan up from daycare in the middle of a pretty rough storm ....ridiculous down pour, wind, thunder, and lightening!  The lightening had knocked all power out at the daycare and they had the kiddoes in the bathrooms with flashlights.  I asked Jathan on the way home if they had to stay in the bathroom because of the storm and he looked at me with so seriously, his eyes big, and shook his head and said "Uhhhh huh."  I asked him if he was scared and he said "nuh uhhhhh."  Brave boy!
